About
Evelyn Anane-Asane is married to Dr. Andrew Anane-Asane, a faculty member also at Trinity. They have three adult children: Faithful, Rhoda, and Andy. Rhoda is married and has a daughter and a son. She worked at the Assemblies of God headquarters as an administrative secretary. She got married to her husband and moved to join him to lead the local church as pastor in Harbor Town in the Western Region of Ghana from
1989-1992. They moved when Andrew accepted the position to teach at the Southern Ghana Bible College in Saltpond, Ghana. She continued her ministry by focusing on children, young girls, and women in the central region. She later enrolled in the Bible college and graduated in 1997.
She received her ordination from the Assemblies of God in 2003. She had been involved in pastoring and preaching in the nearby churches around the Bible college. She also started an NGO (Charity organization) named “Refuge for Street Children,” which focused on feeding and caring for street and destitute children, and the youth, until she moved to the United States in 2007, and later co-planted the Living Spring Church in Madison, WI, with her husband from 2011-2018. She enrolled at the University of Phoenix and pursued a BA in psychology and Human Services. Again, she studied at the SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary, California, and graduated with an MA in Christian Leadership. Some of the things she likes doing in her free time include reading, watching videos/documentaries and cooking.
