About
Dr. Bowman’s life focus is as a practical/public theologian in the Assemblies of God church context. His research had been dedicated to the field of church and congregational conflict, resulting in a practical theology of church conflict and a Christological philosophy of conflict. Dr. Bowman has trained church staff and organizations in the theology of church conflict, along with Family Systems Theory, to help ministers outlive, outlove, and outlast conflict. Many years of experience in church pastoral and AG District leadership positions have informed the vast and varied levels of conflict that occur within organization and congregation. Dr. Bowman has a great love for the local church and the academic training of ministers and church workers.
