About

Curtis grew up in rural southwestern Idaho before attending Evangel. His 30-plus years of ministry includes pastorates in Colorado, Oregon, and Idaho, as well as several youth and
associate positions. His passion is that of an Equipper (Ephesians 4:11-13). Curis has fulfilled this role through pastoral ministry and higher education. His adjunct teaching experience spans more than 16 years with various institutions, including SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary and Northwest University.

Curtis recently completed his Doctor of Ministry degree, focusing his research and applied project on “Soul Priority: The Urgency of Soul-Care for Ministry Leaders.” He is passionate about coming alongside other pastors, teachers, and ministry leaders -encouraging them in their journeys.

In his full-time role as a professor at Trinity, Curtis enjoys the opportunity to work with the next generation of pastors and leaders. He takes seriously the importance of helping equip and encourage men and women as they prepare to follow God’s call to serve Him.

Curtis loves working with little theater. In the past, he has acted in “The Count of Monte Cristo,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,” and several others. He also loves anything to do with flying – he is a “wannabe” pilot.

Curtis and Linda are the proud parents of two daughters, one son, and six delightful grandchildren.
