Applicants should have received or desire the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Applicants should be at least 17 years of age and have graduated from an accredited secondary school or hold a high school equivalency certificate.
Incoming students are required to have taken the ACT and have submitted their scores to the college. The ACT composite score must be at least a 18 or higher for admission. (SAT scores of 1320 or above are also acceptable.)
Students attending Trinity must have their admissions files completed prior to registration. Individuals with incomplete files may be provisionally accepted but their file must be completed within thirty days of registration.
Applicants meeting Trinity Bible College’s admissions requirements are considered without regard to race, gender, or disability.
Applicants who have graduated from a noncertified home-school program and have not taken the GED must complete an approved Ability to Benefit (ATB) test in order to be eligible for federal financial aid. A current listing of ATB tests is available from the enrollment services office. In addition to meeting the composite ACT score of 18, students must have a minimum ACT score of 18 in English and 15 in mathematics to be admitted.
The dual enrollment definition shall also apply to home-schooled students whose parents or legal guardians include on their child’s statement of intent to supervise home education form a listing of courses that will be taken at Trinity and provide a copy of that statement at the time of registration. Home-schooled students who do not have such documentation will be considered unclassified.
Home-schooled students with a cumulative GPA above 3.00 who wish to enroll at Trinity in either an English or a math course will be required to provide an ACT score or pass an English or math placement examination on campus. However, they may enroll in a remedial course. Students who are enrolled in a college course for the purpose of home school credit cannot receive federal financial aid.
Home-schooled students who have not taken the ACT test will be allowed to enroll in one course during their first semester. After the first semester they will be allowed to enroll in additional courses if their academic progress is satisfactory.
