Doug Clay was elected chief executive officer of the General Council of the Assemblies of God at the 57th General Council in August, 2017. As general superintendent of the Assemblies of God, USA, part of the largest Pentecostal denomination in the world, he is a member of the denomination’s Executive Leadership Team and Executive Presbytery. The church has close to 13,000 congregations in the United States with nearly three million adherents. The U.S. Assemblies of God is part of a larger World Assemblies of God Fellowship (WAGF) with a membership of over 69 million. Clay serves as the vice chairman of WAGF.
Prior to his present position, Clay served the church as its general treasurer for nine years. He was superintendent of the Ohio District from 2004-2008, and pastored Calvary Assembly of God in Toledo, Ohio, from 1997-2004. Clay has also served as the Assemblies of God national youth director (1995-1997), Ohio District youth director (1989-1995) and as a youth pastor in Ohio and Iowa. He is a 1985 graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.

He and his wife, Gail, have two grown daughters and eight grandchildren.
Congregational Worship
Led by Graduating Seniors
Verse 1
Spirit sound rushing wind
Fire of God fall within
Holy Ghost breathe on us we pray
Verse 2
As we repent turn from sin
Revival embers smouldering
Breath of God fan us into flame
Chorus 1
We need a fresh wind
The fragrance of heaven
Pour your spirit out
Pour your spirit out
Verse 3
For hearts that burn with holy fear
Purified in faith and deed
Refiner’s fire strengthen what remains
Verse 4
So we the church who bear your light
Lamp aflame city bright
King and kingdom come is what we pray
Chorus 2
We need a fresh wind
The fragrance of heaven
Pour your spirit out
Pour your spirit out
A holy anointing
The power of your presence
Pour your spirit out
Pour your spirit out
Bridge
Let all the redeemed
Prophesy and sing
We can hear the wind
Blowing blowing blowing
Move upon our praise
Sons and daughters sing
We can hear the wind
Blowing blowing

Verse 1
When the music fades all is stripped away
And I simply come
Longing just to bring something that’s of worth
That will bless Your heart
Pre-Chorus
I’ll bring You more than a song
For a song in itself is not what You have required
You search much deeper within
Through the way things appear
You’re looking into my heart
Chorus
I’m coming back to the heart of worship
And it’s all about You all about You Jesus
I’m sorry Lord for the thing I’ve made it
When it’s all about You all about You Jesus
Verse 2
King of endless worth no one could express
How much You deserve
Though I’m weak and poor all I have is Yours
Ev’ry single breath

Delta Epsilon Chi
The Honor Society of the Association for Biblical Higher Education recognizes graduating seniors who have distinguished themselves by: Intellectual Achievement (GPA 3.30 or higher), Christian Character, and Leadership Ability. Three Greek words, (dokimos en Xhristos), found in Romans 16:10, are translated “approved in Christ,” and begin with the three Greek letters delta epsilon chi, and thus the name and meaning of the ABHE Honor.
Sigma Chi Pi
The name of this honor society shall be Sigma Chi Pi, meaning “Diligent Christian Leader,” taken from Romans 12:8, “…one who leads, with diligence” (NKJV). The purpose of the Sigma Chi Pi honor society is to encourage and honor outstanding academic scholarship, approved Christian character, and Christian leadership demonstrated by graduates of postsecondary schools endorsed by The Alliance for Higher Education of the Assemblies of God. Qualifications include: (1) a scholastic average of no less than 3.0 GPA, (2) approved Christian character, and (3) diligent servant leadership.
