Nearly $40,000 in scholarships was awarded to students who will be continuing their education at Trinity Bible College in the 2008 - 2009 school year. These scholarships are funded by the generosity of individuals and corporations desiring to assist students in obtaining quality higher education. Dr. Neil E. Chadwick Pulpit Scripture Reading Contest Scholarship
Awarded by Dr. Neil Chadwick, former Trinity professor, to the winner of the pulpit Scripture reading contest and who will be a returning junior or senior Ministerial major/minor in the fall.
1st Place: Jake Krahn - $200, 2nd Place: Mandi Hayen - $100, 3rd Place: Trevor Gerstmann - $50
Howard and Daisy Spruill Scholarship -$250
Awarded by Dr. and Mrs. Dusing (in honor of Ruth's parents, Howard & Daisy Spruill) to one Ministerial and one Elementary Education Major who is a junior or senior, has a 3.00+ GPA, has a financial need, demonstrates the intention and aptitude for furthering their education in graduate studies and exhibits the spiritual and professional maturity essential for success in their respective careers. If none of the candidates is a particular category doe not meet the GPA requirements, a second eligible candidate will be chosen from the other category.

New Life Assembly of God Scholarship - $500
Awarded by New Life Assembly of God church to two students who attend New Life Assembly of God regularly during the school year, are active in the ministry of New Life, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50.

O'Brien/Neidlinger Memorial Scholarship - $400
Awarded to a returning student who is at least a sophomore with a Ministerial Major and a Concentration in Children's Ministry , Youth Ministry, or a student planning to pursue Music Ministry. Recipient must also be a single student who is a resident of North Dakota and have a financial need.

North Dakota Women's Ministry Scholarship - $500
Awarded by the North Dakota Women's Ministry to a student who is from North Dakota, will be a senior in the fall that will be entering the ministry after graduation.

Bonnie K. Johnson/Middlestead Memorial Scholarship - $250
Awarded to a returning sophomore with a GPA of 2.50 or greater who is pell eligible next year, and must be in Children's Ministry program. You must be a full-time student at TBC.

Lowell Lundstrom Evangelism Scholarship - $500
Awarded by Lowell and Connie Lundstrom to two students who have a heart for Evangelism, and must have participated in one of the following ministries for the past year: Heart A' Flame Inner City Ministry, Friends Prison Ministry, National Outreach, or Native American Ministry.

Reverend & Mrs. Owen C. Carr Scholarship - $650
Awarded by veteran pastor, educator and TBC Board of Regents member Rev. Owen C. Carr and his wife to a student in the ministerial program with the express purpose of an Assemblies of God pulpit ministry. Must have a "fire in his belly" for preaching.

Awarded to a financially needy, married student on this year's Varsity Football team who exhibits a good Christian character.

Awarded by the Alumni Committee to a junior or senior in the Ministerial Program with the highest cumulative GPA.

Darwin Heuser Memorial Scholarship - $100
Awarded by Ona Heuser in memory of her husband Darwin, former Trinity Campus Pastor. Must be returning to Trinity in the fall, have a 2.80 GPA, and a financial need.

Awarded by Dayton & Marilyn Kingsriter, former Trinity Dean and faculty member, to a returning junior or senior Elementary Education major with a 3.00+ GPA and a financial need.

Rosa Mae Wead Memorial Scholarship - $200
Awarded by Doug and Tim Wead in memory of their mother, Rosa Mae Wead, who was a former Trinity instructor and wife of past Trinity President Dr. Roy H. Wead, to a woman planning to be a pastor or a pastor's wife.

Awarded by Mr. and Mrs. David Stoner, TBC alumni to a returning Ministerial student with a cumulative GPA of 2.50+ and with future plans to enter into full-time ministry.

Awarded by a TBC alumnus, to a senior with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA who is planning to pursue a career in counseling ministry.

Floyd W. Beckstrand Endowed Memorial Scholarship - $1000
Awarded by the family of Floyd Beckstrand, veteran pastor and TBC alumnus, to a returning student who is a Ministerial and/or Missions/Intercultural Studies major preparing for full-time ministry and has a cumulative GPA of 3.25+. Students who would not be able to continue their studies without the scholarship assistance and those with a heart for rural ministry will be given priority. Concentrations that qualify are pastoral, church planting, or missions/intercultural studies.

Awarded by the A/G Division of Christian Higher Education and the Division of Intercultural Ministries to one or more ethnic minority students attending an A/G college, and who plans to enter into an effective ministry in their ethnic and cultural communities in the United States.

Monroe Gram Missions Scholarship - $600
This scholarship will be awarded by First Assembly of God, Rapid City, SD in memory or veteran missionary Monroe Gram to someone who is a senior Intercultural Studies Major. A priority goes to students with state residence of ND, SD, MN, MT, & NE, but anyone is allowed to apply.

Awarded by former business manager Duane Johnson and his wife Janet, former faculty member to a student planning on a pastoral ministry. Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and attending TBC full-time next year. Financial need also considered.
