Ellendale,
ND: The Lady Lions have been
fighting hard this season to return to the NCCAA Women’s National Tournament
like they did a year ago. They have been ranked for most of the 2012-2013
season, but now the Lady Lions have been moved up five spots in the top ten
rankings following their good showing at the Assemblies of God Basketball
Classic in Pennsylvania. Prior to last weekend the Lady Lions were ranked 10th
in the nation and even earlier in the season they were ranked as high as 7th.
The Lady Lions now see themselves ranked as one of the top five teams in the
nation at 5th. Congratulations to the Lady Lions and keep working
hard!
The Lady Lions play two home games this weekend in the Ray
Ulmer Fieldhouse so come check out and support the 5th ranked team
in the NCCAA. They play Friday night at 6pm against Dakota College Bottineau
and Saturday afternoon against Lake Region State College at 2pm.
