Trinity Distance Education

"As a young man . . . I viewed school as a ‘necessary evil’. Now after more than twenty-five years of pastoral ministry I know that the lack of a degree has limited my usefulness for the Lord in certain areas.

"I wanted the Lord to ‘enlarge my territory’, but I couldn’t leave my family and place of ministry to get the education I needed. I praise the Lord for Trinity Bible College Distance Education.

"They worked well with the college credits I had already earned, without compromising the integrity and standards of the program. They helped me with a financial aid package and put me securely on the road to greater effectiveness for the advancement of the Kingdom of heaven. They share my heart for ministry . . . and make me feel that I am more than a student; we are co-laborers together with God.

"I heartily recommend to anyone who wants to further their education from an accredited, Spirit-filled school but can't leave home to do it, consider Trinity Bible College Distance Education.”

The Trinity Bible College distance education (DE) program allows students to work toward completing an undergraduate degree without moving to the Ellendale campus. Distance education students pursue either a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies (with a church ministry minor) or an Associate of Arts degree in either general studies or biblical studies.

Distance education courses also permits students who do not presently intend to complete an undergraduate degree to take courses for personal enrichment. Later, if completing a degree becomes a goal, credits earned via distance education will apply to a Trinity Bible College degree.

Although many courses in the Trinity Bible College curriculum are geared toward professional ministry in the Assemblies of God, Trinity Bible College does not grant ministerial credentials. The educational requirements for ministerial credentials are available through the Assemblies of God district in which those credentials are sought.

Prospective students should refer to the distance education checklist for information on admissions procedures. Distance education students must complete a minimum of 30 semester credits through the distance education program at Trinity Bible College to receive an undergraduate degree.
